Stormwater Basin Retrofits

F. X. Browne, Inc. assisted the Woodloch Springs Golf Course and Community in obtaining a Growing Greener grant to naturalize 16 retention basins and 4 wet ponds on their golf course. F. X. Browne, Inc. designed natural pond-wetland systems for converting the traditional detention basins. The pond-wetland systems were designed to treat and remove sediments, nutrients, and metals from the stormwater runoff, resulting in significant improvements to the stream water quality.
