Environmental Site Assessments

F.X. Browne, Inc. has conducted numerous Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) on a wide range of properties, including school districts, golf courses, Brownfields, and residential, commercial and institutional development. Our ESAs are performed in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), the industry standard. A Phase I Site Assessment includes a thorough environmental review of the property, and identifies potentially hazardous conditions through site reconnaissance, interviews, record reviews, and a search of government databases. Through the Phase I ESA, we determine if there is a potential for contamination on the property, and whether further environmental investigation is needed, such as a Phase II ESA. Our extensive experience allows us to take effective and efficient approaches to meet the unique needs of each site.

In the event that further investigation is warranted, as part of a Phase II ESA, F. X. Browne, Inc. makes specific recommendations for the location and type of sampling that will be most effective in uncovering potential contamination, and can conduct this investigation at the request of the client.
