Watershed Management and Planning

Watershed Assessment
Camden County, New Jersey

F. X. Browne, Inc. assessed a total of nine (9) watersheds in Camden County, NJ including Newton Creek Lake, Silver Lake, New Brooklyn Lake, Cedars Creek Lake, Haddon Lake, Cooper River Lake, Pillings Lake, Hopkins Lake, and Evans Pond.

We collected lake water samples to evaluate the lake quality and determine whether the lakes were eutrophic.  F. X. Browne, Inc. then developed a watershed management plan for each watershed, including identified problem areas and potential retrofit options that would alleviate flooding, reduce erosion, and improve water quality.
